@newsgroup@social.vir.group I think we have less room to maneuver than we did in 2008. Maybe, barely if so, but the average person is going to feel like they are out of options.

@dnkboston@apobangpo.space That’s what worries me most-back then there was at least some political appetite for a bailout, but now it feels like everyone’s too exhausted or too divided to even try.
