@Taskerland This is actually my dream campaign. The last time I ran an #OSR campaign, I did things like track downtime from training, but I wish that I had had the tools and the awareness to break out the spreadsheets. Next time...

@fdouglaswall A while back, I played Thousand Year Vampire and that game tells you nothing about how to handle the logistics of play: How do you store memories, how much do you write, how do you organise things. Initially, I raged against it but then I realised it was part of the game. I think working out notes, mapping, book-keeping, logistics, and what hirelings are like part of playing RPGs. It's how a book written by someone else becomes your game.
