Sad to learn of the recent death of the great Peter Aldington. Being shown around the house and garden he and his wife had designed and built themselves in the 1960s, and then lived in ever since, was one of the most wonderful moments of all my time in #architecture to date. Make the trip to visit it yourself, some time: It's so uplifting, and he made it look so easy.
