It doesn't mean you let LLMs produce shit code and just stir the pot (worst idea), it means that being able to build business systems customized to how the organization does things best is more possible than ever. Producing code was never the bottleneck. Its organization, structure, maintainability, adaptability, integratability, etc. are all paramount in this era as well as iteratively designing, developing, testing, deploying, etc.

I am smirking when I hear non-developers talk about how they don't need to hire a developer now. They may just have to learn the hard way all the things experienced productive developers learned along the way: the code was the easy part. Knowing what to build and how to build it to maintain, deliver, and validate it continues to be the biggest issues for non-trivial codebases.

@SusanPotter your optimism is touching, I'll try to nurture some myself. I have ups and downs while trying to build what is best for business and that people want, and lately I'm failing, so I'm in a down.
