@odium___ Thanks for the suggestions. I'd heard of Eldritch Horror but haven't checked out how many players it is built around. We use DnDBeyond where you can look up everything and roll right on the character sheet, but even then we have to remind them how to log in, how to roll with advantage, etc. so I think a complete change from RPGs to board games might be in order.

@odium___ @gamerlady I was going to suggest ShadowDark. There are tons of TTRPGs out there with much lighter rules. And those are also easier to learn and run, IMO, if you're scared of the additional effort. It's probably just as much as learning a complex boardgame. I still play D&D every now and then, but I totally get that it might be too heavy. No reason to give up TTRPGs completely. 😊
