@bastardsheep up here in Bananaville cars are required to give way to buses with their indicator on. Isn't that the case down south of the border?

@Bern Down here in the badlands the vehicle already in a lane has right of way and anyone merging has to give way / find a safe gap. BUT the tests and education booklets all say open a gap, teach courtesy. It’s a case of “technically right” vs “you’re still an arsehole”. Cars are only required to give way to busses down here when the bus is at a bus stop and trying to get out, and must change lanes to do so. Any other time, busses merge with the same rules as any other vehicle.
