@hwang @lukasm it seems like a wall plug added to ecoflow would also make it easier to simulate the grid going away if you wanted to write something to optimize grid spend.

    @christopher @hwang Yeah that's the key difference - I'm not looking for a UPS but rather something that can charge when the grid is cheap, and then have connected appliances use the charge only when the grid is expensive, effectively ignoring the grid at those times. The kicker being you want something that knows to switch back to grid before the battery dies, even if it's expensive. The EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus mentions a Time of Use feature that might do part of this but it's very light on details. Unfortunately it's also very expensive in Australia :(
