@technomancy@hey.hagelb.org Reading people's takes as "oh Codeberg will hit all the same issues as Github when it grows" is making me want to migrate off it back to my own Forgejo instance. I'm already mirroring, but issues and PRs aren't mirrored (I may have made a mistake when setting it up). But yeah jeez people, don't rush to replace one SPOF with another. My dream is that we had a culture of local code clubs in towns and universities that all ran federated code forges.

@technomancy@hey.hagelb.org Writing out documents for how to run things is good, but I wish more software actually had these democratic voting systems build into the software. You can give a user permission to approve a PR, but it's all or nothing. How about software that said “X people in group Y are needed to merge”, likewise with adding people to groups..
