@eestileib have you seen the Reticulum project that has created a mesh-like network stack? If you have I'm curious what your thoughts are on it compared to Meshtastic/Meshcore?

@fionasboots @llorenzin Reticulum didn't really get a developer community, I don't think it's going to be a major factor. MeshCore is far better for higher density locations and for long-haul (I can routinely get to a friend 300km away in four or five hops because a lot of those hops are over ocean. It has a special type of node that's allowed to forward packets. Meshtastic is better for more sparse grids, or more rugged terrain. All nodes repeat in meshtastic so it gets flooded fast in cities.
