You may think this doesn't matter - after all, every item in the old menu also exists as a button in the Ribbon™ or toolbar or as a context menu item, so the menu bar is already redundant, right?

There are a couple of special folders and Control Panel views that add extra items to the classic menu bar, and some of these cannot be accessed through any other GUI. For example, the list of network adapters had an "Advanced" menu with a couple of unique entries that you might still need...
