@eestileib @cvap yep. I live out in the county, so our mutual-aid project of building out Meshcore infra with solar-powered repeaters is more compelling to me personally, but Briar is great for urban environments!

If I write a message to someone not in direct reach, I would need another of my contacts to pick the message up and then move near to the target version. I can hardly think this would work even in a small city. The cool thing is that you can exchange messages without actually interacting, which might be useful for journalists and whistle blowers. But normal people?
