@plactagonic Neat! I love hills so that won't be a problem. I've passed by the region a million times on the Berlin-Budapest train and had a lot of "oh, I should come back one day by bike" moments.
And yes, the trains on that line do take bikes, including the new Railjet ones.

@mrc I just know that I had to take train to Brno on that route and some of the trains don't take bikes. I just wasn't sure. Look in to Czech signed bike routes, I love riding without a bike computer (don't need anything to tell me that I'm slacking off) they are great and everywhere.
