About a year ago (May '25), I was at the top of Helm Craig, looking down on Grasmere. We were staying at the Lancrigg Hotel for a few nights. I can't express how much I want to return there. I clearly underestimated how many days we should have stayed there. Can one be homesick for a place you don't live in? I'm not sure if it's a rational feeling, but I could certainly take a few months to hike as many fells as I could. #LakeDistrict #HelmCraig #LancriggHotel #Grasmere #AlfredWainwright
