OK. I've just stumbled on this master piece.
Like someone says in the comments "a christian horror concept album".
Literally an album of gospels and hymns with a haunting production, crazy ideas, stunning singing performance, experimental and timeless music, all at the same time.
Full of passion and desperation.
I just love it.

After listening for the last 24 hours to this album of haunted gospels only, I realised something striking: War Pigs (Black Sabbath) initial vocal line melody is basically a "preacher cadence", like a gospel. "Generals gathered in their masseeees! (up) Just like witches at black masseeeeees...(down)" It goes up and down, following a narration, like in a gospel! It makes suddenly a lot of sense...what is a Black Sabbath if not a kind of liturgy, anyway? #music #religion #gospel #metal
