To truly experience Boards of Canada's music one has to listen to it and let it simmer in the back of their mind. It's like implanting false memories into your brain and then forgetting them. The false memories will resurface at the oddest moments during your day or night, stimulating some sort of craving for something vague and unnameable, which in the end can only be satisfied by re-listening to BoC's music. It's like a shared false childhood /adolescence. #music #boc #electronic #ambient
