A major driver of ableism is an unwillingness to think about your body becoming different. Disabled people don’t owe you a content warning to preserve the fantasy that we are all permanently bio-typical and neurotypical. Do you realize how many people with facial differences, limb differences, mobility aids, and visible injuries are asked to leave public spaces? Why bring that to mastodon?
