RE: https://mastodon.ie/@thebeeguy/116513089620974807 This 🧵 made me miss our bees, we had a hive of honeybees for a number of years and they made our garden so alive and beautiful. Their hollow yucca fell down and they found a new home just a block away so we still see them (functionally different bees, but they will always be ours in our hearts). I had all the same fears, especially as I am allergic, but i stopped worrying, bees really don't want to sting you. I do wish we had bumblebees here though because they are a delight.
