@boud > Pezeshkianists siding with ordinary Iranians I wonder how you got to that conclusion? Because Pezeshkian is the one who publicly stated that he will resign if he cannot fulfill his promises. Not only he hasn't fulfilled what he promised, he legitimized the massacre in January 2026, and never condemned. He became president with all-time low votes every recorded in Iran. He is part of the problem. Him and all those who advocated for him during the election. @NyxKai @rysiek

@boud The internet blackout for ordinary people not only means their voice have been cut short, but also they don't have access to the news. People consume whatever the gov broadcast to them. This means gradually people get more and more brainwashed. Even in Gaza there was (and is not) any internet blackouts. That's actually how European Gaza supporters get their news and updates. Now imagine if there was a blackout. Well you don't need to imagine, Iran is now in that state. @NyxKai @rysiek

@Mehrad I only meant that with their *public* statements cited by Rudaw mid-April, Pezeshkian's associates *appear* to be siding with ordinary Iranians on this particular issue. I'm not generalising beyond that. That's also what I tried to imply by "independently of reform-vs-revolution debates". @NyxKai @rysiek

@Mehrad Legitimising a crime against humanity (or even just "not my problem even though I was elected president and have *some* fair amount of political/administrative power") is definitely not "siding with ordinary Iranians". @NyxKai
