I can't find a good catalog costume for one of the roles in our next ballet, so I'm considering a few options: - purchase an over-budget costume that can be customized in the right colors - purchase a below-budget, undecorated costume that will need embellishing - purchasing the tutu skirts only and making 6 or 8 bodices myself. I'm kind of tempted toward option 3, but then I would want to keep the costumes for next time, and if I did that I wouldn't feel right about charging the students the whole costume fee, and that would put me over budget again.
