I previously posted a rant about how #apple has "accidentally" killed the on-boarding of a freshly installed Catalina on a 2019 MacBook Air.
The Apple fans rushed to say "well its a 7 year old OS, what do you expect?"
Someone even claimed "I bet a #linux distro from 2018 will have install issues"
So I tested it. #ubuntu 18.04 and even 14.04 have perfectly working installers, even pull down the latest updates and prompts to upgrade and just works.
SORRY, NO EXCUSE APPLE!
