My oldest paid for gas today for the first time ever. Watching the mounting panic in their eyes as the meter ticked up to $40, $50, $60... We got into the car to drive away and they started yelling "Why are we even doing this? Why not just take the bus? This is so stupid!
Like... yeah. It's super stupid.
