@nickapos @billgoats Well for starters there's the fact that all other e-book devices support e-pub just fine so it's restricted in that regard. There's also the fact that once you've jailbroken it you can use a program called KO Reader as your e-book reader and it is so far beyond what is included with the Kindle I could not go back.

@nickapos @billgoats Back when I used my Kindle 3 I mainly used the jailbreak for custom fonts and a hack to set the cover of your current book as the screensaver image.
