I’ve been thinking a lot lately about whether I want to continue charging for my work at all. A lot of that reflection is due to the anxiety from taking time off. I keep wondering if I’d be happier if I didn’t feel that pressure, and just wrote when I wanted to.
But I also recognize that if I don’t start somewhere, and push through that discomfort, I will never be able to financially sustain myself with my work.
I dunno what the right answer is.

All that is to say, I’ll be monitoring Patreon’s continued product panic while I figure it out. Bright side, if they continue to clone all of the social media gadgets that I specifically left those sites to escape, it might end up making the decision easier for me.
