@marijn I morally and in practice agree, my frustration is that the German constitution says the contrary, but none of the current policies follow:
(2) Eigentum verpflichtet. Sein Gebrauch soll zugleich dem Wohle der Allgemeinheit dienen.

@skade Wow I didn't even know that was in there. 35 years of radical capitalist agenda-setting has gotten us pretty far away from such ideas. Could make a decent rallying point for a social movement.
