@jonbro thanks, that's clear, but I'm in the Netherlands, and we're a bad, horrible people here because we [insert trumpian reason]. Does this affect shipping differently?
The reason I'm asking: Last summer I tried to order something $45 Pusheen for my girl's birthday and I was hit with about $75 in punitive taxes, hope that's not the case anymore. Sure stopped me from buying US made things!

@erikcats thats so frustrating!!! so, the best number that I can come up with is that you will only get hit with VAT (via https://www.easyship.com/duties-and-taxes-calculator/netherlands?category=toys&value=40&currency=USD) - so, 21% of the cost of goods + shipping. shipping to NL is 14 USD or less depending on the courier I use. VAT should get collected via the kickstarter pledge manager rather than via the courier. this is so annoying though :( buying stuff internationally is really fraught right now, especially from small biz :(
