@celeduc Where is the 2000 coming from? If the second part is a reference to the proprietary LoRa layer, that's a fair concern. There is an implementation for at least reading it with an SDR, for GNU radio. That could be a starting point for decoder modules for other software. Decoding meshtastic/meshcore just like CW or FT8, with an SDR, should be possible.
