  I'm always puzzled that there seem to few tech/ham events around Tokyo.. but Bunkasai6 event on Sunday was nice. Folks showing morse decoders and all kinds of self built gear. Saw a nice idea promoted: foxhunt with bluetooth! The beacon can be ESP32 based, for hunting an iOS app is existing.   Interesting fnord: Many know that Japan had occupied Manchuria, it was operating as own region called 満洲国/Mansyukoku. In 2019, people who call themself "exile government of Manchuria" founded again the "Country Mansyukoku".   I got a used MacBook Air M1, for use as portable desktop and for HAM activities from parks and summits. These are down to 5万円/350$, and in general used hardware here in Japan is in excellent condition. Of course I'm using Fedora Asahi Remix on the system. Gave KDE again a try.. but #sway it is for me, again.   It's a bit hard to reach, but I finally made it to the 首都圏外郭放水路/Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel: the worlds largest water discharge facility, built to prevent the Tokyo area from getting flooded after heavy rainfalls.   The Microcomputer museum in Oume is nice. Also some systems prepared for use by visitors, for example to type in program listings from old magazines. @codewiz was around with multiple Amigas, the museum event calendar listed him as 'Amiga様'. 😀 https://scitech.or.jp/

  At the 'Gas Museum' Tokyo. They have a gas driven organ, a toaster and more. Mrs. Reiche (Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, making Germany right now invest heavily into gas instead of renewables) would probably try to move in here..

  The #Fediverse at it's best: a Fediverse citizen from Europe could not get a ticket for a concert here, I was not sure if buying a single ticket would end up with the ticket bound to my name. Ended up with 2 tickets, going myself - to a group I had never heard of! Great event, civilized and head banging folks. No pictures allowed at the concert, a good policy. If I was asked about the style, (fans, please don't kill me), it reminded me of the Matrix OST.
