So that Hanta Virus Cruise Ship situation is looking worse by the day...
It's the Andes strain of the virus, which is the one that can transmit between people, and it has an 8 week incubation time.
The current plan is to get everyone off the ship at the Canary Islands, and then send everyone back home to their countries 🤔

@craftygardennz@mastodon.nz EDIT Spain over ruled them. People are free the spread the disease? Luckily for the rest of the world the Canary Isles refused. I'm sorry for the people on board but quarantining the ship is the only way to stop yet another pandemic
