I've been running Unigine now for a bit to see if I can stress it and did some benchmarks. When I set the power profile "battery" or "performance" I get nearly identical scores. "balanced" performs terrible, about drops to 1300 compared to over 1900-2000 with the other settings. With "battery" the fans are much more quiet however, so I reckon if I can push the fans a bit, "balanced" could actually perform nicely.

  • This notebook is driving me nuts. Yesterday I had a #thermald config which gave me a score of 2400 with balanced. Started the notebook today, can't get any scores over 1500 no matter which profile and I triggered the LEDs again. Which I recorded this time and now know what they say. Not that it is any help. They were one Amber and 8 times White. Which according to the manual means: > Disconnect all power source (AC, battery, coin cell) and drain flea power by pressing and holding down the power button for 3~5 seconds. https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/latitude-14-7450-2-in-1-laptop/latitude_7450_om/system-diagnostic-lights?guid=guid-2ec2929d-8ae9-48ff-840f-78aaaa18e148&lang=en-us #Unigine is quite helpful because I immediatly see on the lag when the CPU throttles. #Dell
