@JimHindsKC@mastodon.social I found an option on NFM for “smart appliance: No” but I think it is mischaracterizing some of the options.
I think, unfortunately, this is where AI has been helpful. Ask it to search a specific store for non-connected appliances 🫠
I would totally go with a SpeedQueen next time we need to buy a set. I also love our Miele but it’s too small for bedding.

@Jillianmarisa@vmst.io @JimHindsKC@mastodon.social if I could get “American sized” Mieles that would be awesome. But the way they are priced, plus tariffs, we’d be looking at used car prices (!!!) so maybe not. My boss is getting speed queens. I guess they are made in Wisconsin. That’s pretty cool
