@slyka Doesnt this plugin mainly just add a symbol field "LCSC" with their part number. I guess the plugin stores some extra metadata, but for production this seems like the most relevant info (and iirc, the plugin also reads these fields if there is no other data). And personally I dont think that is a horrible thing to have included, you could potentially add more fields for different distributers

@amy well, just up until now I thought the plugin keeps the LCSC mapping in it's own database but apparently that's not always the case, because some parts have an LCSC field while others don't, even though they all have part numbers assigned in the plugin. Not sure what's going on there, tbh…
