@slyka are you still using component files like in the old kicad 3 days?
I never did that tbh. In my project all footprints and component properties are defined in the schematic editor and exported to pcbnew directly from there.
edit: ah ok there is a jlcpcb plugin ? I have zero experience here, sorry.

@f4grx the plugin adds an additional field with the LCSC part number to the footprint. Everything else comes from the schematic.
