Sure, and the Shi'ites have survived being the minority for over a millennia.
And the Iranian regime literally survived 47 years most of which were not exactly trivial for it. Deprivation, wars etc is exactly what Iran is used to live with.
It's actually Israel and the US that have short attention span here via elections.

capable to export oil fine to the north it's only the route to the south that is cut. Now turning off oil wells is not something that is easy. At best it's expensive, at worst irreversible. So they are desperate to get rid of their surplus of oil/gas. And the only method they can optimise: tankers. How? Make run short routes to their destinations, which means more deliveries per month per tanker. @VeroniqueB99 @Felis_Catus_Domesticus
