@Fou_ad@mastodon.world @emenel@post.lurk.org There's various criticisms of Omarchy that boil down to it not being a real distro and just being Arch with a coat of paint that DHH pretends fixes problems of Linux that simply are not real, but the more egregious thing is that DHH is a known white replacement theorist who last year openly supported the UK's far-right, anti-immigration protests.

@shio @emenel @Fou_ad And it runs Hyprland which has the distinction of being the best tiling window manager i have ever used, and the project is run by one of the biggest transphobic arseholes i've come across. Compiling in your favourite quotes from when you pwnd the h8ors so it is displayed over the wallpaper, and can't be switched off, is just pathetic. I am migrating to niri but it's hard to retrain myself *again*.
