After a failed attempt the day before, now the unmistakable growling of a large diesel motor from the distance disturbs the early morning tranquility. And then, just like an old and tired ghost from the past, BB 67511 emerges from the vast, dark and mystic forests of the Voges mountains onto the sunlit plains with her RRR rake. Folks: This is the very last diesel loco hauled regional train of France! 😍

@dominicstucki@urbanists.social I genuinely thought 67000s were all retired, except maybe a handful for SNCF Infra that have TVM for works and emergencies on LGVs (67200 if memory serves) Anyhow, what a beautiful picture!
