@deepmud Someone else suggested it might be lilacina, and that sounds like what I think the tour guide said. I don't remember hearing any "p" sounds at the time, and from a quick search they don't quite look right. Lepiota do look like the mushrooms that come up in our garden from time to time, though, so I think you've helped with another identification that I hadn't even asked about 😆
