It occurs to me that I can't make jokes about AI girlfriends and also call it a serious mental health crisis. If you have a personal relationship with a chatbot... I hope there's somebody in real life you trust who you can talk to about it

@chris__martin@functional.cafe we strongly recommend not getting romantically involved with a statistical model. people socially near us have gone through it and it looks incredibly painful.
