@rejzor @EthicalProfessor l am also an atheist and also liked Francis. Obviously, there are some of their stances that I disagree with, but standing up for morality against the scum running the US, Russia, and Israel (plus others) is awesome. I hope this attitude filters down to local churches as well.

@Thorium Exactly my point. The Catholic Church for once just keeping more or less with their doctrine and not being overly a hypocrite, is nowadays so refreshing that it makes them surprising acceptable even to people that didn't agree on policies as such. The Catholic Church is far from being progressive. The point is that "American progressive" is by international standards pretty conservative. A match in heaven, pun intended. @rejzor @EthicalProfessor
