I received an email & SMS from a company that works with CHL (Community Housing) to tell me they’d been engaged for smoke alarm & Gas safety checks & gave me a day & time block & asked if it suited. It did so I gave the Yes reply to them. I’ve just received another SMS to tell me the technician will call me on my number on the day plus his name & the number he will call from. I love this because I don’t answer any call from any number I don’t recognise. This means I can put it in my phone temporarily & know who is ringing. I’m impressed.
And it’s about time all companies did this! #CHL

@feather1952@aus.social That sounds like a good practice to follow. I wish SAHT (South Australian Housing Trust) had the same practice for the tradies they use.
