@knowprose @anildash I'm not sure Pixelfed fills quite the same function as Flickr. It isn't primarily about describing and organising high-resolution photography, from what I understand.
Something like Piwigo.com is perhaps a better model (open source but offers a paid service too). It's three times the price of Flickr, which is probably a bit much for lots of people.
