@espyeen that's extremely relatable. I don't know how to deal with it other than look forward and move on. But still, we are the sum of our past experiences and decisions, and there are things missing there. I find comfort socializing with other weirdos, my age or otherwise. There are people who have things missing in their lives too, compared to most people's experience, in different ways. And we can be beautiful together.

    @miranda_blue@eldritch.cafe @espyeen@meow.social this. i don't think it makes a lot of sense to stay focused on the things that are missing, but more on those we have already and those we can create. i like to think of it as practical postnihilism - i used to embrace the nothingness, but i figured that that's incredibly dangerous if you don't go the extra step to create something new from the void. some who are stuck in there tend to drag others in there without any plan about how to get out again.
