@bgm Presumably there is a board of directors running the event. You'd probably have to show up to a board meeting with an angry mob ready to state the case against AI art and demonstrate that the board's decision will in some way materially hurt the festival. Sadly the decision probably comes down to money.

@Undercat Yeah. I mean it’s a nice community event once you break through all the blues lawyers and old white dudes playing truly awful dad rock to see the more fun and interesting bands. I suspect it’s said old dudes using ai and gatekeeping the Facebook page. And Facebook is super gross generally but neighbourhood FB groups are their own special kind of pearl-clutching vile so it’s not surprising they deleted the comment. What are ya gonna do I guess.
