@le_friwi_56@mastodon.nz Hi, which Linut Mint version do you use? 21.x, 22.0, 22.1, 22.2, 22.3? Such information is always helpful, if you ask for anything about a software product. π‘ Please use a terminal to get this information, if you don't know it yetw: "cat /etc/linuxmint/info" With 22.3 they made an update of the system information App. Maybe, this is the reason, why you can not find it in the same way as in the past. π https://www.linuxmint.com/rel_zena_whatsnew.php

@le_friwi_56@mastodon.nz And where you able to find that (new) system information, after you read the blog post from LinuxMint? I am often use the menu search function. After typing in "system", my LinuxMint 22.3 quickly finds that App. β¨

@le_friwi_56@mastodon.nz Hi. Yet, I had time for a deeper look. The system information app, which can be started from the start menu, is assigned to following command: mintreport So you could try to start the App in another way for testing purpose: 1) Open a terminal. 2) Execute "mintreport" 3) The systeminformation app should be started like you see in the attachement. If that command / app is not found, install it via your application store.
