The system information app, which can be started from the start menu, is assigned to following command: mintreport So you could try to start the App in another way for testing purpose: 1) Open a terminal. 2) Execute "mintreport" 3) The systeminformation app should be started like you see in the attachement. If that command / app is not found, install it via your application store.
