ok, after the interview: 1. I don't think they are a scam anymore, they are just... not very professional 2. there was a comically huge gap between my expertise and what they expected. No wonder the recruiter was so eager to jump on my salary expectations. On the other hand it was him who thought I was a fit for this role after reading my CV. Gaaaah. Recruiters.
