@Niall problem is, a good percentage of people are completely priced out of cutting their CO₂.
We could only afford the urban arrow bike with gifts from family and a loan from family.
We also got a battery lawnmower with a family loan.
We could never afford solar or an EV without similar help. Many do not have family with that kind of money and for them it is impossible.

@SimonCHulse that is why I specifically called on SOCIETY to take action. You're not the one building an LNG terminal. Our stupid government is. They could take action. WE MUST make it very clear with our votes this November what we want. What I want is long term planning, and investment in de-carbonising, de-risking our societal energy needs. I can't comprehend why this is not the default position.
