we must resist our arrogance of experience and assumptions that [people paying to generate codeslop] have nothing to teach us
this is from way out in left field but
this dig about "arrogance" reminds me strongly of a similar (bullshit, projecting) critique that religious folk used to paint us atheists with in the late-'00s movement (in the fifteen minutes before it turned super toxic and collapsed)
so i kinda wonder if it comes from a similar place

@pho4cexa I think it does indeed come from a similar place. (Also, people throwing tokens into models like gamblers and slot machines, same kind of mentality...)
