It is astounding how stupid people get when the subject of physics comes up. They become incapable of reasonable inference.
Ordinary people become sheeple who obey the dictates of obvious snake oil salesmen. For what physicists tell us is obvious snake oil: instantaneous action over any distance whatsoever! This is plain and certain nonsense that you would accept from NO ONE ELSE, not even an electrical engineer like me. Only from a PhD in Physics, for no reason other than the sheepskin...

The physicists themselves are convinced because they believe themselves such "geniuses" that they need not actually become true scholars. They know no actual mathematics, nor logic and rules of plausible inference, nor random process analysis, nor epistemology, nor any of a thousand other things they ought to know but do not. They instead wing it and think they can, because they are just so freaking "smart". And they simply blow you off if you try to point out how wrong they are.▫️
