@thomas_decker@mastodon.online he is not skeptic, never was. He positioned as one so his views wouldn't be ruled out by normal skeptical and scientific minds.

@thomas_decker@mastodon.online I don't find it surprising. I think the whole "New Atheist" movement was just a bunch of people who really wanted religion but didn't like the options available, so they tried to start their own religion masked as anti-religion. Now that that movement is in tatters, it stands to reason they'd be in search of new gods.
