@foxyloon yeah I was trying to find seams that would indicate it was screwed together, and then I found them and was reallly impressed by the tolerances.
Peel and screw is the first step after step zero: information gathering!

@b4ux1t3 Yeah, I get what you mean here. I don't have one of these specifically, but I've taken apart enough gadgets to know what to look out for. I hope the halves aren't plastic-welded together or something crazy like that. That's why my first guess was to try peeling back the pads and stickers. That's where such things are typically hidden. Hoping you get more concrete info on this specific thing. Best of luck with the repairs!
